At least four people have died and 10 others have been hospitalised in the last 48 hours after allegedly consuming adulterated milk supplied by an unauthorised vendor in Andhra Pradesh’s East Godavari district

The accident occurred around 2 am on Friday after the trailer lost control and crashed. The driver has been arrested, and a case is registered.

Preliminary investigation suggests that the contaminated milk caused kidney (renal) failure leading to sudden urinary blockage and death, police said.
